Rockfish, Lingcod and Dungeness Crab: A Full Combo Deck

Rockfish, Lingcod and Dungeness Crab: A Full Combo Deck

The combo trip is the one people talk about on the ride home. We fish the rocks for rockfish and lingcod, then pull the crab gear, so you come back with dinner for a week.

Look at those reds and coppers. Rockfish are the backbone of the day: steady action on light gear, good eating, and plenty of them. Mixed in you get the bigger lingcod, the blue-green ones that always surprise people.

Then the best part: the crab. When the hoop comes up full of Dungeness, the whole boat crowds the rail.

And sometimes the Bay throws in a bonus. The kids on this one got into leopard sharks and wouldn't stop smiling.

Combo trips run when rockfish and crab are both open. See the dates and book the boat.
